Aces High Fundraisers
Thu, 09/06/2007 - 5:43pm — MWTrekAces High will have hold three fund raising events this fall. We will have a car wash and two pasta dinners.
Car Wash- Aces High will be washing cars on Saturday September 22nd between 9am and 3pm. The car wash will be held in front of Bradley Bowl in Windsor Locks. Tickets are $5 a car. The rain date will be the next Saturday Sept. 29th.
Suffield Pasta Dinner- October 20th- Aces High will put on their chiefs hats again for their second annual pasta dinner. This years pasta dinner will held at Sacred Heart Church on Mountain Rd. in Suffield. With the help of the Knights of Columbus, Aces High will be serving the public between 5pm and 8pm. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids.

Another Great Season for Aces High
Mon, 08/13/2007 - 2:55pm — linuxlizzardAces High has done a fantastic job this year thanks to both very hard work of everyone on the team and our robot Ace of Spades.
In the UTC regional in Hartford, we were both the number one seed and thanks to the help of Team 25, Raider Robotix, and Team 2104, Colonel Robotics, the regional finalists.
In the Greater Toronto Regional, we were on the winning alliance thanks to our awsome partners Team 2056, Patriotics, and Team 1114, Simbotics.
Finally, in the national championships in Atlanta, we were quarterfinalists on the Curie field along with Team 1305, Iced Cubed, and Team 2166, Appleby Robotics.
We would also like to give a special congratulations to our friends Team 177, Bobcats, and their partners Team 190, Gompei and the Herd, and Team 987, High Rollers; the winners of the 2007 FIRST Championship!
Aces High's 'Winter Warzone' Scrimmage a Great Success
Sun, 02/18/2007 - 10:44am — linuxlizzardThis year's scrimmage went very well, and we would like to thank Mrs. Willett, Mrs. Congden, Mr. Wanat, Mr. Charrette, Mr. Davis, Mr. Fields and the FIRST Staff for organizing and conducting a very successful 2007 scrimmage!
We would also like to thank all the FIRST teams who competed in this year's scrimmage. The winning alliance was 178 - 176 - 716, and the finalists were 230 - 1071 - 1124. Great job guys!
